The scope of work <br />���� includes replacing 3 bridges in Villa Park and replacing the boardwalk section at the Harriet Alexander <br />� � Nature Center as outlined in the attached pre- award document. <br />1't.�� <br />�� This package is recommended to be funded in the Renewal Program budget as planned. <br />1;, <br />��� Package E— Lighting System Installation, including Courts, Rinks and Lake Bennett Trail <br />� �: Lighting <br />� � There was 1 proposal on Package E. With the procurement process complete, the Best Value Contractor <br />�::� for the lighting systems install has been identified as Peterson Companies. The initial budget was <br />� � anticipated at $350,000 for installation and $350,000 for materials totaling $700,000 for the lighting <br />�: package. This package is for electrical work and installation only with the materials and supplies being <br />�: purchased separately by the City through US Communities, a cooperative bidding effort for governmental <br />��� entities. Their initial proposal was for $447,705. Through value engineering and project clarification, the <br />��� total cost for this package is $404,620. <br />1t <br />� � Staff recommends that Peterson Companies be selected as the contractor to perform the electrical wark <br />��� and installation. The scope of wark includes lighting and control system upgrades at 6 tennis courts, <br />�� 4 rinks, 2 basketball courts and a pedestrian lighting system on the trail at Central Park Lake Bennett as <br />� Q�� outlined in the attached pre-award document. <br />1 �', <br />��� The materials and supplies will be purchased separately through US Communities at a cost of $345,380. <br />����� The total budget for materials, supplies and installation will be within the $700,000 total budget. <br />�e; <br />��-� This package is recommended to be funded in the Renewal Program budget as planned. <br />1: <br />� � Package F- Tennis Court Reconstruction and/or Resurfacing <br />� �� There were 3 proposals received on Package F. With the procurement process complete, the Best Value <br />��� � Contractor for the tennis court refurbishment has been identified as Bituminous Roadways Inc. to <br />�.: refurbish tennis courts throughout the city. The initial budget was $750,000. Their initial proposal was <br />� �� $648,500. Through value engineering and project clarification, the total cost for this package is <br />�� � $663,190.50 <br />15 <br />� 5�. Staff recommends that Bituminous Roadways Inc. be selected as the contractor to perform the tennis <br />�: court refurbishment for the courts at Acorn Park, Autumn Grove Park, Bruce Russell Park, Evergreen <br />� E: Park, Howard Johnson Park, Pocahontas Park, and Sandcastle Park and the basketball courts at Autumn <br />�� Grove, Bruce Russell, and Sandcastle Park as outlined in the attached pre-award document. <br />1 f: � <br />��� This package is recommended to be funded in the Renewal Program budget as planned. <br />1 r: <br />� E Package G- Field Improvements <br />��;� There were 3 proposals received on Package G. With the procurement process complete, the Best Value <br />� c Contractor for the field improvement package has been identified as Urban Companies, LLC to <br />� E, reconstruct portions of baseball and softball fields and remove and reconstruct fencing at various fields. <br />� F The initial budget was $1,248,000.
