It is recommended that the City council deny the variance as <br />requested by Rosedale Center based on the finding that no <br />hardship or practical difficulty exists. <br /> <br />2. It is further recommended that the City Council grant <br />variances to allow two 18 sq. ft. directional signs without <br />the word "Rosedale" based on the fact that four separate 4- <br />1/2 sq. ft. directional signs could be constructed at each <br />location. <br />council Action Requested: <br /> <br />1. Motion to deny Rosedale Center's request for a variance to <br />allow the construction of two additional free standing signs. <br /> <br />2. Motion to approve a variance to allow two 18 sq. ft. <br />directional signs without the word "Rosedale" based on the <br />fact that four separate 4-1/2 sq. ft. directional signs could <br />be constructed at each location in accordance with the city's <br />ordinance. <br />
