Tolmateer {645-0223} Rick Tolmateer is with Universal sign company, and was in with Rudy Samstegard from Donaldsons Department stores who is with their Operation's Facility Division. They announced that Donaldson's is going to change the name of their store to Carson Pirie Scott. Accordingly, they proposed to change the signage on the exterior of their department store at Rosedale. The existing sign consists of three 176 sq. ft. signs, and the new signs will be two at 211 sq. ft. and one at 160 sq. ft. These letters are mounted directly on the brick, and thus are measured 6 inches around the letter as noted in the ordinance. Based on the percentage of wall space, it can be occupied by a sign in the shopping center district. Each of the three new signs conforms to ordinance requirements, and will be smaller than that allowed. We also noted that we wanted to be assured that the shopping center management (The Center companies) agrees with these changes, in as much as the city does not want to review signage for individual stores, and not under control of the center. The signs will be lit with a translucent face light from behind at night. No source of light will be visible. They were informed they could proceed with applications for sign permits. 2. Lohman (375-1260) Tom Lohman, the developer for the Investor savings Bank proposal in the Fine Associates Company PUD was in with Tom Ruvelson, and Connie Hesse, both from Sign Consultants along with Robin Roberts and Jim Berghweter (542-8000) both from Investors Bank, and Tom Sweeny, attorney (222-2541). We reviewed the signage proposals for the proposed bank. We agreed that the overall signage allowanée for area is equal to the signs proposed, minus the electronic canopy sign originally indicated on the drawings. We agreed that they would adjust the sign sizes of the overall building, so that
