Political signs shall remain no longer than 60 days before <br />and 10 days after the election for which they are intended, and <br />shall be located so that no part of the sign shall be closer than <br />six feet from the back of the curb. If there is a sidewalk, no <br />part of the sign shall be located closer than two feet form the <br />edge of the sidewalk. Such signs shall be erected with permission <br />of the property owner or lessee. Those installing pOlitical signs <br />shall comply with the Pair Campaign Practices Act adopted by the <br />State of Minnesota. <br /> <br />14.140. <br /> <br />Public W~VS. <br /> <br />Signs shall not be permitted within the public right-of-way or <br />easements except bench signs, and newspaper and cab stands, aaà- <br />eh~~eh à±~eeè±eas-s±gasT all of which shall be as governed by the <br />Building Code, and real estate signs and political signs as <br />regulated in this Chapter. City, county and state traffic <br />directional signs are permitted. <br />[Option: permit off-premise directional signs for institutional <br />uses in Residential Districts, which shall be limited in size and <br />height like other directional signs.] <br />
