The Federal Bureau of Investigation is interested in leasing <br />space in the Gateway Business Center at 2140 W. County Road C <br />for a facility to maintain surveillance vehicles and <br />equipment. <br /> <br />2. The facility would involve maintenance and retrofitting of <br />vehicles, therefore, this would be considered an automobile <br />service use. Automobile service uses require special use <br />permits in B-4 zoning districts. <br /> <br />3. The proposal would also involve an outside storage area for <br />up to three vehicles which also requires a special use permit <br />in the B-4 zoning district. <br /> <br />4. The Planning Commission, on a 5-1 vote, recommended approval <br />of' Bruce CarlandlCSM Corporation request for special use <br />permits at 2140 W. County Road C with the following <br />conditions: <br /> <br />a. That maintenance of all vehicles be conducted entirely <br />within the principal building. <br /> <br />b. That the facility be used for the maintenance of <br />vehicles ownec;i and operated by the FBI and that the <br />facility not be used in any way that will involve <br />advertising or offering of goods or services to the <br />public. <br /> <br />c. That the design, appearance, and materials of the fenced <br />enclosure be as shown to the Planning Commission. <br /> <br />d. That the applicant and lessor agree to maintain the <br />fenced area in good repair at all times and the tenant <br />be specifically advised that all trash be stored <br />indoors. <br /> <br />A disenting <br />building is <br /> <br />vote was cast because of concerns that the <br />not being properly maintained because trash <br />
