<br />dumpsters are being left outside instead of inside the <br />building as required by City ordinances. This was a concern <br />because it is an indication that the outside storage area <br />would not be properly maintained. CSM has subsequently taken <br />action to insure that tenants keep all trash and dumpsters <br />inside the building. <br /> <br />Alternatives: <br /> <br />1. Deny the proposal based on the finding that the proposed use <br />would be detrimental to the general health, safety, and <br />welfare. <br /> <br />2. Approve the use based on the finding that the proposal would <br />not be detrimental to the general health, safety, and <br />welfare. <br /> <br />policv Obiective: <br /> <br />1. To insure that development occurs consistent with the City's <br />comprehensive plan and zoning ordinance. <br /> <br />2. To grant special use permits where it is demonstrated that <br />the proposed use would not be detrimental to the general <br />health, safety, and welfare. <br /> <br />staff Recommendation: <br /> <br />1. It is recommended that the city Council approve Bruce <br />CarlandlCSM Corporation's request for special use permit at <br />2140 W. County Road C with the following conditions: <br /> <br />a. That maintenance of all vehicles be conducted entirely <br />within the principal building. <br /> <br />b. That the facility be used for the maintenance of <br />vehicles owned and operated by the FBI and that the <br />facility not be used in any way that will involve <br />advertising or offering of goods or services to the <br />public. <br /> <br />c. That the design, appearance, and materials of the fenced <br />enclosure be as shown to the Planning commission and <br />City council. <br /> <br />d. That the applicant and lessor agree to maintain the <br />fenced area in good repair at all times. <br /> <br />e. That all trash be stored inside the building. <br /> <br />Council Action Reauested: <br /> <br />I.
