County Road C. <br /> <br />Background: <br /> <br />1. ci ty ordinances require that automobile rental agencies are <br />uses by special use permit in industrial zoning districts. <br /> <br />2. Enterprise Rent A Car is proposing to lease space from <br />Roseville Properties at 2025 W. county Road C to rent <br />vehicles from. <br /> <br />3. The Roseville Planning Commission unanimously recommended <br />approval of Enterprise Rent A Car's request for a special use <br />permit at 2025 W. County Road C with the following <br />conditions: <br /> <br />1. That 25 parking spaces be reserved on site, for the <br />rental cars. <br /> <br />2. That all washing, vacuuming, and other car preparation <br />be done completely within the building. No car repair <br />or other maintenance is to be done on site. <br /> <br />3. That no trailers or other equipment be stored on site. <br /> <br />4. That additional landscaping be provided in front of the <br />parking area to screen the cars from County Road C to a <br />height of at least 2.5 feet. <br /> <br />5. That there be no signs or other advertising for car <br />sales on the site. <br /> <br />Alternatives: <br /> <br />1. Deny the special use permit based on the finding that the <br />proposal would be detrimental to the general health, safety, <br />and welfare. <br /> <br />2. Approve the proposal based on the finding that the proposed <br />special use permit would not be detrimental to the general <br />health, safety, and welfare. <br />
