<br />F. All seeded areas not located in drainage swales and/or with slopes less than 3:1 shall be <br />mulched with Type I in accordance with MnDot Specifications. Apply mulch at 2000 pounds <br />per acre. The mulch shall evenly cover 90-percent of the soil surface prior to flat disk <br />anchoring. <br /> <br />G. All seeded areas in drainage swales and/or on slopes 3: 1 or greater shall be covered with <br />erosion control blankets and staples within 24 hours after seeding. Installed per <br />manufacturer's instructions. <br /> <br />H. Seeded areas shall be maintained in a moist condition for a minimum of 30 days or until <br />seeded work has been approved by final acceptance and responsibility for maintenance <br />accepted by the Landscape Architect. <br /> <br />PLANTING <br /> <br />A. Planting shall be located as shown on the Drawings except where obstructions below ground <br />or overhead are encountered or where changes have been made in construction. Necessary <br />adjustments shall be made only after approval. No planting shall be placed closer than two <br />feet to pavements or structures. <br /> <br />LANDSCAPE MAINTENANCE <br /> <br />A. Maintain landscape work for a period of 60 days immediately following complete installation <br />of each major category of work. Include watering, weeding, cultivating, restoration of grade. <br />mowing and trimming grass, pruning trees and shrubs, protection from insects and diseases, <br />fertilizing and similar operations as needed to ensure normal growth and good health for live <br />plant material. <br />
