CALL TO ORDER.

Chairman Keith Wietecki called the May 11, 1994, regular
Planning Commission Meeting to order at 7:30 p.m. in the
Council Chambers in City Hall.

2. ROLL CALL AND INTRODUCTIONS.

Members Present:

Sandstrom, Rengel, Thomas, Wall,
Wietecki, Harms and Roberts

Members Absent:

None.

staff Present:

Jopke, Falk, Aune and Welsch

council Present:

Mastel and P. Johnson

3. APPROVAL OF THE MINUTES.

Chairman Keith Wietecki explained that the March 9, 1994,
minutes as originally approved did not reflect what had
occurred at the meeting, especially on page 7 relating to
the Kehr project.

MOTION:

Member Wietecki moved, seconded by Member Rengel, to reopen
for correction the minutes of the March 9, 1994, meeting.
The motion carried unanimously.

Member sandstrom stated that the purpose of the original
motion was to change the density and to include all property
to the east of the Al Kehr project in the comprehensive plan
redesignation from low density to medium density. Chairman
wietecki stated that of the three Shardlow recommendations
that are noted within the minutes of March 9th, the
Commission took option 2 which read: ". . . if the
commission is supportive of the Kehr project but has
hesitations regarding adjacent properties, a design should
be done for all of the properties in the area before
approvals are made.
