CALL TO ORDER. <br /> <br />Chairman Keith Wietecki called the May 11, 1994, regular <br />Planning Commission Meeting to order at 7:30 p.m. in the <br />Council Chambers in City Hall. <br /> <br />2. ROLL CALL AND INTRODUCTIONS. <br /> <br />Members Present: <br /> <br />Sandstrom, Rengel, Thomas, Wall, <br />Wietecki, Harms and Roberts <br /> <br />Members Absent: <br /> <br />None. <br /> <br />staff Present: <br /> <br />Jopke, Falk, Aune and Welsch <br /> <br />council Present: <br /> <br />Mastel and P. Johnson <br /> <br />3. APPROVAL OF THE MINUTES. <br /> <br />Chairman Keith Wietecki explained that the March 9, 1994, <br />minutes as originally approved did not reflect what had <br />occurred at the meeting, especially on page 7 relating to <br />the Kehr project. <br /> <br />MOTION: <br /> <br />Member Wietecki moved, seconded by Member Rengel, to reopen <br />for correction the minutes of the March 9, 1994, meeting. <br />The motion carried unanimously. <br /> <br />Member sandstrom stated that the purpose of the original <br />motion was to change the density and to include all property <br />to the east of the Al Kehr project in the comprehensive plan <br />redesignation from low density to medium density. Chairman <br />wietecki stated that of the three Shardlow recommendations <br />that are noted within the minutes of March 9th, the <br />Commission took option 2 which read: ". . . if the <br />commission is supportive of the Kehr project but has <br />hesitations regarding adjacent properties, a design should <br />be done for all of the properties in the area before <br />approvals are made.
