He
expressed concern with the properties that surround the site
and the premature nature of the proposal. He also expressed
concern about the need to resolve the issues surrounding the
site, but he supports the revised motion.

The motion to correct the Kehr motion on page 7 of the
minutes of March 9, 1994, carried unanimously 7 to O.

Approval of ~he Minutes of April 13, 1994.

Chairman Wietecki reminded the Planning commission of the
actions and the informal recommendations it had made at the
May 4, 1994, study Meeting regarding the Comprehensive Plan,
and urged the commission to be consistent. He asked the
commissioh to consider first, whether the motion on page 6
of the April 13, 1994, minutes was correct or not. "This
motion recommended to the city Council denial of any change
in the Comprehensive Plan for any property along county Road
C." Member Rengel responded that the motion correctly
reflected the intent of the Commission at that time. Member
Roberts expressed concern with regard to the accuracy of the
motion as it related to the properties west of the Legion.
Member Thomas stated that the motion within pages 6 and 7 of
the April 13, minutes should not have included a
Comprehensive Plan change for the Legion and any areas west
of the Kehr properties. Member Rengel expressed his concern
that there was a lot of confusion at the April 13th meeting
regarding the issues of the evening and whether they were
zoning or comprehensive Plan issues. There appears to be a
lack of consistency.

HOTION:

Member Rengel moved, seconded by Member Sandstrom, to
reconsider the motion stated at the bottom ot page 6 and the

\
\
