<br />18.280 <br /> <br />ZONING. CODE <br /> <br />18.280. Amendment. <br />1. This ordinance may be amended whenever the public necessity <br />and the general welfare require such amendment by following <br />the procedure specified in this section. <br /> <br />2. Requests for amendment of this chapter shall be initiated by <br />a petition of the owner or owners of the actual property; a <br />recommendation of the Planning commission: or by action of <br />the City Council. <br /> <br />3. An application for an amendment shall be filed with the <br />Zoning Administrator. All applications for changes in the <br />boundaries of any zoning district which are initiated by the <br />petition of the owner or owners of the property, the zoning <br />of which is proposed to be changed, shall be accomplished by <br />a map or plat showing the lands proposed to be changed and <br />all lands within five hundred (500) feet of the boundaries <br />of the property proposed to be rezoned, together with a <br />Certificate of Abstract showing the names of registered <br />property owners within three hundred fifty (350) feet. <br /> <br />4. Notice shall be sent by letter, when an amendment applica- <br />tion has been filed for change in district boundary, to all <br />property owners within 200 feet as to the time and place of <br />the public hearing. <br /> <br />5. upon receipt in proper form of the application and other <br />requested material, the Planning commission shall conduct a <br />public hearing in the manner prescribed in the Roseville <br />Zoning Code as described in section 16.020. <br /> <br />6. Following the public hearing, the Planning Commission shall <br />make a report of its recommendations on the proposed <br />amendments to the City Council within sixty (60) days after <br />the hearing. The council shall then conduct a hearing as <br />described .in Roseville's zoning Code Section 16.030. <br /> <br />7. To defray the administrative costs of processing of requests <br />for an amendment to this chapter, a fee of $100.00 shall be <br />paid by the petitioner. <br /> <br />113 <br />
