Thus. in most cases there is little specific information on the types and quantities of materials disposed of in open dumps, and it is therefore not possible to determine the potential impact on the environment from these sites. Based on the groundwater flow direction in the vicinity of the SITE it appears as if the Rice Street Disposal Site and St Paul Brass Foundry Sand Site likely have not had an adverse environmental impact on groundwater quality beneath the SITE. C.S.a. Underground Storage Tank Information System: The MPCA's file evaluation also included a review of the Underground Storage Tanks Information System data base which contains information about underground storage, leaks, and spills of petroleum products or hazardous substances. Made available by the MPCA, and attached in Appendix C, are: A list of leaking underground storage tanks (the MPCA City Leaksite List) reported within the 55113 and 55117 zip code area; and A list of hazardous substances and/or petroleum product spills (the MPCA Spills and Leak Report Log) that have been reported in Roseville, Maplewood and S1. Paul. According to the MPCA, no underground storage tank installations, leaking underground storage tanks, or spills of hazardous substances and/or petroleum products have been reported under the title or the address given for the SITE. In addition, no leaking underground storage tanks were listed within a one-quarter mile of the SITE. C.6. Ramsey County Public Health Department A list of licensed hazardous waste generators in the 55113 and 55117 zip code area was reviewed for potential on-SITE and adjacent facilities (see SITE Reconnaissance section). The list was provided by the Ramsey County Public Health Department. No hazardous waste generators, disposers or transporters were listed at or adjacent to the SITE. In addition, the Ramsey County Public Health Depamnent does not maintain hazardous Waste spill fIles on facilities that are not licensed hazardous waste generators. Therefore, because the SITE is not a licensed hazardous waste generator, no hazardous waste spills were listed at the SITE.
