Lost sketch pointing Worship Center to the Southeast

Although there was a site E plan, it has been ~ost and therefore we cannot present it. My
recollection is that it pointed the new facility to the southeast corner of the proposed site. That
attempt drastically cut down available parking, required an expensive, dysfunctional, angular
connecting link, and obstructed both foot and vehicle traffic.

Exhibit F... Abandon Roseville for a bigger site in a Third.Tier Suburb

If Roseville Lutheran Church was unable to obtain sufficient land, it would be forced to relocate its
congregation to a new site. Scheme F articulated the advantages for the Church of starting over
with a new building where all the ministry tools could be properly laid out, rather than adapting
our ministry to the piecemeal construction that now exists. Scheme f is a master plan for an
appropriately sized facility for RLC's congregation.

The 1989 evaluation concluded that the church should either pursue the Exhibit C design after it
purchased more land, or relocate on a new site. None of these plans materialized, because the
Church did not find additional land. Therefore, this expansion effort became dormant in 1989.
RLC's overcrowding continued to accelerate. RLC revisited its space crisis again, with a different
volunteer committee, and a different church architect, in late 1992.

(,,).
....

.,;

NEW SITE

-16-
