Rd. B and Lexington Ave. The City of
RoseviUe decided to exchange the Church's land for a portion of the City-owned parcel just east
of RLC's site. This is one of the exhibits reviewed at the City Council hearings. The location of
the proposed Worship Center, presented then for illustration, is nearly identical to the location
proposed today. There are four major differences between the June 1993 iJlustration and the
current design. First, the connecting Gathering Space has become longer and narrower.
Second, the Worship Center has evolved from hexagonal to square. Third, RLC has made traffic
flow more efficient by bringing the south parking lot to one grade. Fourth, and most important,
RLC has removed one entire story from the Worship Center facility by locating the main floor at
the level of the baseball field, and RLC has reduced the roof line an additional 9 feet through
innovative acoustic design. In other words, the building location RLC proposes today is in the
same location that RLC illustrated in July of 1993, when the City of Roseville sold RLC the land
for the express purpose of constructing this Worship Center.

RYA:'oI AVENUE

-
z
'....
~

....

.......1.'.....1.....'
...........

...c:J..CJ..
~~s.'I'Io' -.'

1,.,0
o
3
z
<OJ

....

'.

I I I
/I 1/1 NOITH
~Po\..t : ,M. 100'

ROScLAWN AV~NUE

PERMAMENT PARK AREA 1.5 ACRE
I , ROSEVILLE LUTHERAN CHURCH SHARED USE RECREATION AREA .5 ACRE
\ AMENDED SITE DEVELOPMENT PLAN
TOrAL.
