To help analyze the <br />concerns and provide information to all affected parties, each development <br />concept WaS reviewed in-depth to determine the impact that it would have on <br />the local area. <br /> <br />2.0 Traffic Projections <br />Trip Generation <br />Trip generation for each development concept was determined by applying trip <br />generation rates from various sources. Sources included the Institute of <br />Transportation Engineer's (lTE) Trip Generation Handbook (4th and 5th <br />Editions) as well as the QRS (Quick Response Systems, 1978) Handbook. The lTE <br />trip generation rates were used for all of the land uses (except for townhomes, <br />in which QRS rates were used), and for aU peak hour trip generation.
