Drawing No.2 shows the estimated number of trips that the project site will
generate each day and during the peak hour for each direction, based on the
above-mentioned distribution approximations and other local traffic patterns.

Drawing No.3 shows the current, (1991) average daily traffic volumes on area
roadways (before development), and the estimated adjusted daily traffic volumes
after full development of the project site.

Turning Movements

As shown on Drawings 4-6, peak hour turning movements were estimated for
seven (7) key intersections within the immediate area of the development site.
Volumes shown on Drawings 5 and 6 are estimated current p.m. peak hour
turning movements (except at South Owasso Boulevard/Rice Street, which are
actual turning movements as counted by Mn/DOT), and estimated p.m. peak
hour turning movements after the development traffic has been added. Turning
movements were estimated for each intersection based on current (1991) traffic
counts, directional distributions of traffic in the area (based on traffic counts for
each approach of an intersection), and on an estimate of 10% of the current (1991)
number of daily trips occurring during the p.m. peak hour.

3.0 Impact of Development on Local Roadways

Dale Street/County Road C

This intersection is controlled by an all-way stop. Approximately 13,800 vehicles
per day are currently accessing this intersection, including approximately 2,400
vehicles per day on Dale Street north of County Road C.
