This is the area the school district use to
own, but has sold to be developed. I have been up to the area and
have seen that half of the area has already been torn up.

I question whether all those trees need to be torn down. Trees are
a valuable resource. First of all, people need to keep trees
because they turn carbon dioxide into oxygen so people can breath.
SecondlY, trees are homes for birds and small animals. Trees also
provide shade, which means less need for air conditioning. They
hold down the topsoil. Finally, trees provide beauty.

To fix this problem, I suggest that trees only be cut down where
roads and the house area will be. This would hopefully leave many
trees in the lots. The other thing I'd like to suggest is to plant
trees where they have been cut down too much.

Your concerned citizen,

@W2:M1~1\/'
Jeremy Carlson
