The CONTRACTOR shall make any corrections <br />required by the ENGINEER and return the required number of <br />corrected copies of Shop Drawings or re-submit new samples. The <br />approval of a separate item,' as such, will not indicate approval <br />of the assembly in which the item functions. ' <br /> <br />No Work requiring a Shop Drawing or sa~ple submission shall be <br />undertaken until the submission has been approved by the <br />ENGINEER. <br /> <br />I <br />,(',\ <br />.~ <br />.1 <br />I <br />I <br />t <br />t <br /> <br /> <br />, <br /> <br /> <br />l' <br />jr* <br />~ <br />I <br />. <br />I <br /> <br />The ENGINEER'S approval of Shop Drawings or samples shall not <br />relieve the CONTRACTOR from his responsibility for any <br />deviations from the requirements of the Contract Documents <br />unless the CONTRACTOR has, in writinq, called the ENGINEER'S ' <br />attention to 'such deviations at the time of submission and the <br />ENGINEER has given written approval to the specific deviation, <br />nor shall it relieve the CONTRACTOR from errors or omissions in <br />the Shop Drawings.. <br /> <br />l\VAILABILITY OF LANDS: PHYSIC~L AND SUBSURFAC~ CONDITIONS: <br />BEFERENCE POINTS <br /> <br />The OWNER will provide, as indicated in the Contract Documents, <br />the lands upon which the work is to be done, rights-af-way for <br />access thereto, such other lands which are designated for <br />the use of the 'CONTRACTOR, and all pe~its from governmental <br />agencies neoessary far~the work to proceed which shall be done <br />by the OWNER 'with reasonable promptness. If the CONTRACTOR <br />believes that there has been delay in OWNER'S furnishing these -~ <br />lands,' rights-of-way, easements, or permits, the CONTRACTOR'S <br />sole remedy shall be an extension of conqact time, for which <br />the CONTRACTOR may make a claim therefore as provided in section <br />236. <br />
