The CONTRACTOR shall also submit to the ENGINEER ,for. approv~l, with such promptness as to cause no delay in the Work, all. samples required by the Contract Documents. I The ENGINEER'S approval of Shop Drawings or samples shall not relieve the CONTRACTOR from his responsibility for any deviations from the requirements of the Contract Documents unless the CONTRACTOR has, in writinq, called the ENGINEER'S ' attention to 'such deviations at the time of submission and the ENGINEER has given written approval to the specific deviation, nor shall it relieve the CONTRACTOR from errors or omissions in the Shop Drawings.. l\VAILABILITY OF LANDS: PHYSIC~L AND SUBSURFAC~ CONDITIONS: BEFERENCE POINTS The OWNER will provide, as indicated in the Contract Documents, the lands upon which the work is to be done, rights-af-way for access thereto, such other lands which are designated for the use of the 'CONTRACTOR, and all pe~its from governmental agencies neoessary far~the work to proceed which shall be done by the OWNER 'with reasonable promptness. If the CONTRACTOR believes that there has been delay in OWNER'S furnishing these -~ lands,' rights-of-way, easements, or permits, the CONTRACTOR'S sole remedy shall be an extension of conqact time, for which the CONTRACTOR may make a claim therefore as provided in section 236.
