TURF ESTABLISHMENT This Contractor shall be responsible for spreading topsoil, seeding, and, mulching the boulevards and all other areas of the site disturbed by utility installations. Sufficient topsoil shall be stockpiled on site for these purposes. Payment for turf establishment shall be compensation in full for spreading topsoil, seeding, and mulching. No payment shall be made for required water use in conjunction with this work. 19. TESTING OF MATERI^LS AND WORKMANSHIP Testing shall be conducted as indicated in the specifications. The locations and amount of testing required will be determined in the field by the Engineer, based upon the results of previous tests and observations. As a minimum, the following frequency will be required: * Trench Backfill Compaction One set for each 500 feet of trench for each type of material encountered at various depths in trench. * SUbgrade Compaction One for each block or 500 feet. Subgrade Stability Roll test is required before and after aggregate base placement. * Aggregate Gradation * Aggregate Base Compaction Aggregate Composition One for every 500 tons. One for every 500 feet of street.
