If the tests do not pass, the frequency of testing will be increased until they consistently begin to pass. The contractor shall provide mix designs for the asphalt and concrete for prior approval by the Engineer. The Contractor shall provide gradation tests of the gravel bedding..and gravel subbase materials to the Engineer for approval prior to placement.
