Please be prepared to finalize the topics that you would like to discuss and some details of <br />each. It would also be a good idea to discuss how you would like to approach this short time <br />with the City Council in order to be most productive. Please mark the June 16th date on your <br />calendar and plan to attend. <br />Requested Commission Action: Finalize agenda topics. <br />6. Comprehensive Plan Committee Report <br />Commissioner Willmus is your representative to the steering committee for the city <br />comprehensive plan update. Commissioner Willmus will review any committee progress and <br />ask for any appropriate participation, comments, action, etc. <br />As a result of Commissioner Willmus' recent appointment to the City Council, a replacement <br />representative will need to be selected. <br />Requested Commission Action: Report, comments and select a replacement Commission <br />representative to the steering committee. <br />7. Pathway Committee Report <br />At the last meeting you appointed Commissioner Brodt Lenz as the Commission <br />representative to the Pathway Committee. The Committee has met twice. The latest update <br />information will be provided at your meeting. <br />Requested Commission Action: Discuss and Comment. <br />8. Consideration to Name the Roseville Central Park Amphitheatre <br />Enclosed is a letter from the Roseville Central Park Foundation requesting that the <br />Roseville Central Park Amphitheatre be named the Frank Rog Amphitheatre in honor and <br />recognition of former Parks and Recreation Director Frank Rog. It was much of his work that <br />created the award winning, nationally recognized Parks and Recreation System that Roseville <br />enjoys so much today. <br />In recognition of this naming, the Roseville Central Park Foundation has authorized a <br />significant contribution of $25,000 to perform facility improvements to the amphitheatre in <br />Franks name and honor. <br />Gale Pederson, director on the Roseville Central Park Foundation and fellow Commissioner <br />will speak to this request and ask for your discussion and support. Attached is the naming <br />policy of the City for your reference. <br />Requested Commission Action: Consider recommending to the City Council that the Central <br />Park Amphitheatre be named the Frank Rog Amphitheatre. <br />9.
