This is the first interse tio .
east of Snelling Avenue on County Road B. I also visited the site to get a more com ~e~
understanding of the likely entranCe and exit patterns during tho moming peak hOUI, when. we expe
the heaviest use of the business. We have provided three sketches which show various an.-angeln
of the building, tmffic flow and parking which could be considered. "

Based on input from the developer on a similar facility in Apple Valley, 00.tp08t Java is expecte~ t
serve approximately 300 cu.stomers (vehicles) pE:t day. This results in a trip geoeratio, 0
approximately 600 trips counting the trip in and the trip out. We believe that the 600 trips perra
is reasonable, based on comparisons of this facility with other larger drive through operations

We expect a large share of the trips will occur during the morning and early afternoon hours. If ~o
of the 300 nips per day are between 7:00 a.m. and 2:00 p.M., there would be an averagl ()
approximately 40 or less vehicles per hour. I

,

We estimate that approximately two tlUrds of the trips entering the site will enter off eastbofl
County Road B to the northbound drive-aisle serving Target, the Wave Car Wash, Perkins, f-tc.
These vehicles will be most likely to enter the southbound Outpost Java drive through lane. B~
on the assumptions of 40 vehiCles per hour and two thirds entering via the first drive aisle easf 0
Snelling Aven\le., approximately 26 vehicles per hour would enter from this direction. This ~ an
avt::rage arrival rate of approximately one vehicle every 2.3 minutes. We know that there will ;n
be more than one vehicle aniving from this direction at a. time, due to the platooning of vehicl at
I
