<br />TSCHIDA OWASSO HILLS PLAT 4 <br /> <br />4.9 Turf Establishment (2575) <br /> <br />All Boulevards must be seeded, mulched and disc anchored immediately after curb and <br />gutter is placed. Turf establishment shall be in confonnance with MN DOT 2575, <br />except as modified below: <br /> <br />Seed shall be mixture designation 700 applied at a rate of 60 lbs. per acre. Mulch shall <br />be type I and shall be applied at the rate of 2 tons per acre. All mulch shall be disc <br />anchored. All seeding areas shall include placement of 4" depth topsoil where needed, <br />as detennined by the Engineer. Until final inspection and acceptance of the work is <br />made, all necessary maintenance, replacement and repair work shall be performed by <br />and at the expense of the Contractor, and no additional compensation made for seed <br />and mulch material used for reseeding and remulching. <br /> <br />5. METHOD OF MEASUREMENT AND PAYMENT <br /> <br />5.1 Granular Backfill <br /> <br />Payment will be at the contract unit price based on the compacted volume in cubic <br />yards of material placed. <br /> <br />5.2 Subgrade Preparation <br /> <br />Payment will be at the contract unit price per road station (100 feet), measurement will <br />be along centerline of roadway installed. <br /> <br />5.3 Aggregate Base (CL 5 100% Crushed) <br /> <br />Payment will be at the contract unit price per square yard of CL 5 furnished and <br />compacted in-place in accordance with the plans and specifications. <br /> <br />5.4 Bituminous Base .arid Bituminous Wear <br /> <br />Payment will be at the contract unit price per square yard of bituminous base and <br />bituminous wear furnished and compacted in-place in accordance with the plans and <br />specifications.
