Landscape Framework: <br /> <br />A). EnU:y Plantin~s: Overstory canopy trees will be clustered at the vehicular <br />entrances and at prominent corners. Plantings will be located at intersections and at <br />entrances to the site to provide year round color. Ornamental trees such as Amur <br />Maples and Flowering Crabs will be used between the entrances to the parking area. <br />Spreading Junipers and evergreen trees will be used as base plantings and backdrops <br />respectively around the ornamental trees. Buffers of evergreen material will be utilized <br />along property lines of land uses which are not similar in use. Flower beds may be used <br />at access points. <br /> <br />B). Perimeter/Screenil\i Lands~pe Treatment: These plantings will be located <br />within setback areas between street right-of-way and building or parking lots. <br />Vegetation and earth berming will buffer views to parking areas and frame views to <br />buildings. Evergreen massings, shade trees, and berming will be combined to provide a <br />unifying, infonnal character throughout the site. Minimum tree size will be 2 1/2 inches <br />caliper for deciduous trees and 6 feet in height for evergreen trees. <br /> <br />C). Interior Plantin~s: These plantings will be located at building foundations, <br />entryways, walkways, and parking lots. All parking lots will have planting islands <br />installed within them that are a minimum of 125 square feet. All parking areas less <br />than 15 stalls will include unpaved, landscaped islands along driving aisles that serve as <br />primary circulation to the site.
