Interior parking area trees will be provided at <br />the rate of one tree for each 20 surface parking spaces provided, or a fraction thereof. <br />Parking area landscaping will be contained in planting beds bordered by a raised <br />concrete curb or equivalent approved by the Planning Commission. <br /> <br />D). Boulevard Plantin~s: The proposed Twin Lakes Parkway corridor will become <br />the major focal point of the landscaping for the site. Evergreen trees will comprise one- <br />half of all plant materials. Shade trees and understory ornamentals will then comprise <br />the other half of the plantings. Perennials will be used selectively along the right-of- <br />way. Perennials will have a minimum bed size of 40 square feet. Minimum Lands~pe Area: At least 20 percent of the total land area under <br />development will be landscaped with grass, approved ground cover, or shrubbery and <br />trees. At least 5 percent of the land area within a parking lot will be landscaped. For this <br />purpose, the exterior of the parking lot will be defined as the area within the outside <br />peripheral curb defining the parking areas and access drive directly contiguous to such <br />parking areas. <br /> <br />F). Plant Size Requirements: At major entrances, all entrance and boulevard trees <br />will be of specimen quality. Deciduous trees will be at 3 inches in diameter when <br />planted. All ornamentals will be a minimum of2 inches in caliper and specimen quality. <br />Evergreen trees will have a minimum height of 6 feet, with an average height in a varied <br />planting of 7 feet. Shrubs will be from a 5 gallon pot or larger. For perimeter plantings, <br />evergreen trees will be a minimum of 4 feet in height with an average of 5 feet in height <br />overall. Shade trees will be a minimum of2 1/2 inches in caliper. Deciduous shrubs <br />used for screening will be 2 feet in height at planting. Evergreen shrubs will have a <br />minimum spread of 18 inches. All other shrubs will be from a 3 gallon pot or larger. <br />All areas will be sodded except where naturalized grasses are used. <br /> <br />G).
