When the City entered into an <br />-' ag:reerrent with Ryan CaTpanies to develop the property, the agreanent <br />required a 105,OOO-square-foot b.1ilding. With the streets planned. <br />for the site, it appears the l05,OOO-square-foot building won't work <br />on the property unless setback variances are granted by the council <br />or the building size is reduced. <br /> <br />Our concern is that a variance will be grantad that will allow the <br />new b.1ilding to be built closer to the D:lrso property than the. <br />current setback requirement. we do not think that a variance of <br />that nature is in our best interests, nor do we think that it" is <br />apprppriate for the City to be granting itself variances that impact <br />adjoining property owners.
