The litigation between Ramsey <br />County and CPI is scheduled for District court trial on October <br />2. The Court will be deciding on the value of the property. <br /> <br />The attached information has been made available to the City from <br />Norman Vinnes, Director of the Ramsey County Public Li~rary <br />system. A summary'of the information is as follows: <br /> <br />o The Roseville Library to close in May to June, 1992, <br />and remain'closedfo! a year and one-half. <br /> <br />o Prospects for providing interim library service out- <br />lets for Roseville are expensive, with no funds <br />included in the 1992 Proposed Library Budget. The <br />Ramsey County Library system will conduct an exten- <br />!=;ive public information campaign to keep Roseville <br />residents updated on library status. <br /> <br />o During the year and one-half closure of thE: Roseville <br />branch, the nearest available libraries will be the <br />Arden Hills and Shoreview branches. <br /> <br />This information has been provided in draft. It is subject to <br />continuing review and revision.
