STATIONARY SOURCE - SPECIFIC SPECIAL CONDITIONS <br /> <br />6.1 Air Pollution Control Equipment <br /> <br />· Operation of Air Pollution Control Equipment. The air pollution control equipment for this <br />facility shall be operated whenever the emission units vented to the air pollution control equipment <br />are in operation unless otherwise stated in another part of the permit. Operation of the pollution <br />control equipment shall be in accordance with conditions specified in Part 1 of this permit. <br /> <br />The Permittee shall conduct all necessary maintenance and make all necessary attempts to <br />keep all pollution control equipment in proper operating condition at all times. <br /> <br />If it is necessary to shut down equipment or if a breakdown occurs, the Permittee shall <br />comply with the requirements of Special Condition 7.2, Shutdowns and Breakdowns. <br /> <br />· Monitoring of Air Pollution Control Equipment. The monitoring equipment for the air <br />pollution control equipment for this facility shall be operated whenever the air pollution control <br />equipment is in operation. Such operation shall be in accordance with all permit conditions. <br /> <br />The Permittee shall conduct all necessary maintenance and make all necessary attempts to <br />keep all monitoring equipment for the air pollution control equipment in proper operating <br />condition at all times. <br /> <br />If all necessary monitoring equipment is not operational at the facility on the date this permit is <br />issued, the Permittee must install or make repairs within 60 days of issuance of the permit. If new <br />pollution control equipment is being installed as part of this permit, the associated monitoring <br />equipment shall be installed concurrently and be fully operational at the time of initial startup of the <br />air pollution control equipment. Startup shall be defmed as the setting in operation for any purpose. <br />
