Centre Pointe was approved by the Roseville City Council on <br />Friday, April 11, 1997. <br /> <br />The suggested text changes are based on a proposed Planned Unit Development Agreement dated <br />April 11, 1997 with a fax date of April 24, 1997. Underline <--J is suggested text additions, <br />and strikeout (~--) is suggested text deletions. <br /> <br />I offer the following comments on the Agreement. <br /> <br />Paragraph 6. "Rezoning". - 5 \6~ ~ <br /> <br />In the middle of paragraph 6, beginning with the sentence that reads as follows: <br /> <br />Failure by the DEVELOPER to commence development activity on at least one parcel of <br />the Planned Unit Development, in accordance with the Final Development Plans, within <br />one year following the final approval of this Planned Unit Development will necessitate the <br />approval of an extension of the development schedule by the City Council prior to the <br />expiration of the one year period. <br /> <br />There are several reasons for suggesting this language. The current language is vague by not <br />defining "commence development activity." As part of the development process there is no <br />discussion regarding "development phasing."
