Such sign <br />shall be flush mounted to the primary building in which the home occupation is <br />operated. <br /> <br />(g). Home occupations shall be limited to the performance of services only. Retail sales are <br />prohibited. The sale of products or merchandise incidental to the delivery of the <br />service may be permitted. <br /> <br />(h) There shall be no indication of offensive noise, vibration, smoke, dust, odors, heat or <br />glare at or beyond the property line. <br /> <br />(i) The operation of the home occupation, as it is apparent to adjacent residential uses, <br />shall begin no earlier tha.n 0:00 a.m. and end no later than 10:00 p.m. <br /> <br />(j) No equipment shall be used in the home occupation which will create electrical <br />interference with surrounding properties. <br /> <br />(k) A home occupation shall not include the repair of internal combustion engines (other <br />than small engine repoir), body shops, machine shops, welding, ammunition, manu- <br />facturing or any other objectionable uses as determined by the city council. Machine <br />shops are. defined as places where I"aw metal is fabricated, using machines that <br />operate on more than one hundred ten (110) volts of current. <br /> <br />(l) Home occupations, including but not limited to hairstyling and tanning salons, shall <br />provide not more than one (1) station <br /> <br />(m) Home occupations shaH not cause more than two (2) additional vehicles to be parked <br />on or near the property at anyone (1) time. <br /> <br />(n) Home occupations which require clients to visit the premises shall be limited to three <br />(3) clients on the premises at any onc (1) time and a total of sixteen (16) clients during <br />the permitted hours of operation each day. . <br /> <br />(0) The total number of home occupations conducted within a dwelling unit is not limited, <br />except that the cumulative impact of all home occupations conducted within the <br />dwelling unit or on the premises thHreof shall not be greater than the allowable <br />impact for one (1) home occupation. <br /> <br />(p) Each home occupation shall be required to obtain a home occupation certificate from <br />the City of Faribault. i\ll existing and future applicants shall mnkc ;:Ipplic:ltion with <br />the City of Faribault and shall be subject to the payment of a filing fee as established <br />by council resolution. Issued home occupation certificates are not transfernble. <br /> <br />(q) An nonconforming home occupations legally existing prior to the adoption of the <br />previou~ ordinance (dated April 8, 1986) and this ordinance (dated March 28, 1995) <br />shall be allowed to continue. but shall not be allowed to expand, be rebuilt, relocated, <br />replaced or altered without being brought into compliance with all the requirements <br />of this subdivision. <br /> <br />, ./ <br /> <br />~upp. ~u. :.1:! <br /> <br />2033 <br />
