The <br />property is located in an R-1 Single Family Residential District, and the <br />Comprehensive Plan identifies this pro'perty a's Low Density Residential. Adjacent <br />land uses include low density residential to the north, east, and west, and a church <br />to the south. <br /> <br />Mrs. Nyman is requesting a variance from Section 1012.01 (B) of the City Code to <br />reduce the side yard setback to three feet for the purpos~ of.constructing an eight- <br />foot addition to an attached single car garage. She will, also need a variance to <br />reduce the setback of a driveway. t,o ~hree feet from the. property line: The existing <br />residence on the property, including "'the' single car attached garage, was <br />constructed in 1953.
