<br />iO-~-'t )? <br /> <br />ORDINANCE NO. <br />Revision: October 2, 1998 <br /> <br />AN ORDINANCE AMENDING SECTIONS <br />602.06 (Boulevard Parking), 1012.07 (Nonmotorized Pathways), <br />1013.02C (Minor Variance Procedure), and 1014.03 (Fees) <br />OF THE ROSEVILLE CITY CODE <br /> <br />THE CITY OF ROSEVILLE DOES ORDAIN: <br /> <br />Section 1. Purpose. The purpose of this Ordinance is to remove the provisions <br />for minor variances and all references thereof throughout the City Code. This <br />Ordinance will also establish the procedures for a Setback Permit as Section 1013.05, <br />which will reduce approval time, utilize a similar review process, and require no physical <br />hardship finding as compared to the minor variance procedure. <br /> <br />Section 2. Amendments. The Roseville City Code is hereby amended as <br />follows: <br /> <br />Section 602.06. Parking on Boulevard Prohibited. No vehicle shall be parked on any <br />boulevard adjacent to a public street except: <br /> <br />B. Nonmotorized Pathways Required. <br /> <br />C. 1\ property owner seeking a v3ri3nce from the requirement of this Section may <br />3pply for such \y'arianoe pursu3nt to the minor \y'arbnce prooedures of subsection <br />1013.02C. <br /> <br />Section 1 013.02C (1013.05). Procedure for Minor Variance Setback Permit. <br /> <br />A. Purpose. The purpose of the setback permit is to encouraoe residents to <br />uporade and improve their properties. while maintainino the overall character of <br />the community. <br /> <br />B. Procedure For Minor Variance Setback Permit. An owner of land may file an <br />application for a minor \y'arianoe setback permit as defined in subsection 1 below <br />by paying the fee set forth in Section 1014.03 of this Title and providino a <br />completed application and supportino documents as set forth bv the Community <br />Development Department. The application shall then be referred to the MiRef <br />Vari3noe B03rd Development Review Committee as set forth in subsection 2 of <br />this Section. In the event that the Bomd Committee unanimously approves said <br />v3riance setback permit, the 'arbnce setback permit may be granted by the Gity <br />Council Community Development Director.
