J've visited sites and
read supporting materials plus as much else as I had time for, and have
the following questions - perhaps you could forward themto others as you
see fit.

I understand you might not have answers for all of them, and some are
better asked at the meeting - so you may not need t6answer them all.
My citations of shoreland code come from info off the web in January, not
from the code book you gave me, so I hope the numbers are accurate.

Many thanks,

-Peggy Egli

Dr. Margaret Egli
Research Associate
Dept. of Agronomy and Plant Genetics
University of Minnesota
1991 Upper Buford Circle, St. Paul MN 55108,
612-625-5215 (lab) / 612-625-1268 (FAX) / peggy@bioscLcbs.umn.edu

----------------------------------------------------------------------- . I

File 3077 - Olsen / ''2.. - \ ~

What is the current height of the Olsen building? Will it increase? My
concern is how much winter sun the properties at 1.956 Lex. and 1088 Ryan' .
will have with the new plan (Le. will it be less). My weather calendar .
says the lowest sun angle in winter is 22 degrees and the sun rises and
sets at 33 degrees south of true Eand W. This is a trig. problem, that
needs the distance from house windows to the proposed building and the
building height.

-----------------------------------------------------------------------

File 3111 - Boater's outlet

I don't understand the traffic flow on the site (to parking; to "main
gate"). Are the "driveways" adequate width? The passage between parking
areas 5 and 15 is narrow and yet very close to the main gate. Code
(703.04 A2,3) species widths of 24' driveway width for 2-wayandJ8' for
one-way drives. No scale was shown. '

Are the gas pumps too near where customers drive? Is this'safe? I
couldn't find standards for gas pump construction, curbing, and access in
code. ".,

Is there adequate egress in case of emergency? I noted the high tension
wires and also signage for Williams pipeline (I think?) ';

.',

, '
Any requirements for fire prevention or extinguis~ers? . .

Is the high voltage tower at the NE end too accessibl,e to adventurous,
climbing customers?
