T A <br /> <br />2. Fire Department <br /> <br />There are currently 3 fire stations in the City of Roseville. Station 1 is a very old building last <br />remodeled in 1977 and is located at Lexington and Woodhill. It has been indicated that this <br />building is in need of replacement. Station 2 was built in 1964 and is located at Fairview near <br />Rosedale. Relocating this station has been talked about gi ven nearby shopping mall traffic, <br />although there are no immediate plans or funding for a relocation. Station 3 is the newest station <br />built in 1974 and is located at Dale Street and Highway 36. <br /> <br />These three stations provide adequate geographic coverage for the entire City and will continue <br />to do so into the future (i.e.. fill in growth, mostly from redevelopment, will not require a fourth <br />station). Therefore, for purposes of the fiscal analysis there will be no capital costs associated <br />with growth for new fire stations.
