Olson, Property owner of 1944 Lexington Avenue North Regarding: Response to concerns associated with Planning File #3077, expressed at the March 10, 1999 Meeting of the Roseville Planning Commission In keeping with the request of the Roseville Planning Commission, we have had numerous conversations with members of the City of Roseville Planning staff and adjacent residents to our property. We have listened to comments, suggestions and concerns expressed by ani parties involved. We have listed below, those issues raised by the adjacent neighbors. While the list is quite len~hy, it is nonetheless not intended to be all inclusive but rather our recollection of the issues brought for.h at the RosevilJe Planning Commission Meeting of March 10, 1999 as well as conversations wi!:'} the neighbors. The following list is not necessarily in order of importance as expressed by the neighbors. We have modified the Planned Unit Development(PUD) plans to incorporate the requested changes in order to eliminate the concerns expressed. These modifications are being offered in good faith with. the understanding that we will initiate our PUD subject to approval of the Planning Commission and the City Council. We have made the alterations as suggested by the Planning Commission. We have modified the plan to incorpo:ate the issues expressed by the neighbors. Those items designated by an asterisk (*) have been addressed in the modified site development plan, Edition #9, March 29, 1999. Those items designated by a pound sign(#) have previously been addressed in the March 10, 1999 PUD, Planning File #3077. NEIGHBOR'S COMMENTS 1. The turret or tower is too high, * 2. The lights in the turret/tower will shine into the neighbor's homes. * 3. The current green areas are being replaced with building and asphalt. * 4. The three foot setback on the east is too close to our property. * 5. The joining of the new building with the current hardware store will result in: A Lack of air circulation from the west* B. An extended wall and resulting j'strip mall" design* 6. Landscaping should not be completed on the Rose Villa property.* 7. There is too much building on a small property area, * 8.
