James Addition Neighborhood Plan (Section 6) and the Tower Place Business Area <br />Plan (section 7) - These plans have been approved by the City but not the Metro <br />Council, which will have that opportunity as part of the 1998 Mandatory Planning <br />Process. <br /> <br />12. City Center (Section 7) - A City Center Task Force Planning Process began in <br />August, 1998. This is part of the plan Implementation Section. No action will be <br />taken on this plan until July, 1999. <br /> <br />13. Demographics (Section 2) - The demographic profile has been updated where <br />statistics are available. <br /> <br />14. Twin Lakes Parkway Realignment within the Twin Lakes Plan (Section 7) - In 1997, <br />a review of the land u~e, environmental and traffic impacts was completed prior <br />to hold hearings on an amendment to move the designated route for future Twin <br />Lakes Parkway approximately 800 feet south. The Commission and Council <br />approved this realignment (6/97). An official map of the right-of-way has been <br />approved and attached to the Comprehensive Plan Map and thoroughfare plan. <br />A review will take place as part of the 1998 Metro Council Mandatory Planning <br />Process. <br /> <br />15. Street Map (Section 10) - The City Street Map has been revised and added to the <br />introduction section to the Plan. <br /> <br />16. Economic and Redevelopment Plan (Section 7) - This section has been rewritten <br />to provide an overview of short and long term economic and redevelopment <br />strategies. Employment projections extend to the year 2020. The Larpentuer <br />Avenue Implementation Design/Redevelopment has been approved and the first <br />special services district was established in 1998. (narrative attached) <br /> <br />17.' Housing (Section 6) - The housing section included revised statistics (density of <br />single family and multiple family projected to 2020), the current Livable <br />Communities Action Plan and a status report on housing programs. The housing <br />and population estimates were extended to the year 2020. <br /> <br />18. Collaborative Efforts (Section 11) - The City of Roseville has become a partner in <br />the collaborative planning process for the 35W subregion (North Metro I-35W <br />Corridor Coalition). One goal of this collaborative effort is to develop a subregional <br />plan in time for the five year update (2003) of city plans.
