<br />6.0 Planning Commission Action <br /> <br />On February 10, 1999, the City of Roseville Planning Commission recommended (6-0) <br />approval of the Lyndale Garden Center and Capital City Investments LLP request for a <br />conditional use permit to allow construction of an outdoor display/sales/ and storage area <br />of 14,000 to 18,000 sJ.; 225 lineal feet of display trellis and approval of a 2 foot height <br />variance for a security and safety fence with the fence set back 1 foot from all right-of-way <br />lines, based on the findings in Section 3 and with the conditions listed in Section 4 (4.4 <br />through 4.15) of the Request for Commission Action dated 2/10/99, and with display space <br />available to the fence line. <br /> <br />7.0 Suggested Council Action <br /> <br />By resolution, (draft attached) approve the Lyndale Garden Center and Capital City <br />Investments LLP request for a conditional use permit to allow construction of an outdoor <br />display/sales/ and storage area of 14,000 to 18,000 s.f.; 225 lineal feet of display trellis and <br />approval of a 2 foot height variance for a security and safety fence with the fence set back <br />1 foot from all right-of-way lines, based on the findings in Section 3 and with the <br />conditions listed in Section 4 (4.4 through 4.15) of the Request for Council Action dated <br />2/22/99, subject to completion of a certificate of survey to identify right-of-way and <br />property lines, and with display space available to the fence line. <br /> <br />60-Day Schedule: The application was accepted as completc on January 11. 1999. The deadline for a decision by thc <br />City Council is March 13,1999. <br /> <br />Attachments: Project narrativc, cxisting conditions plan, site plan with landscape concept, building sketch, acrial <br />photo. site photography.
