Mall Exterior Common Area Maintenance and Litter Control Policy

Landscaping and green areas on the Har Mar property are maintained by a contract lawn
maintenance firm. Between April 1 and October 31, landscape maintenance is performed
one day a week between the hours of 8:00 a.m. and 4:00 p.m. The lawn maintenance firm
checks all landscaped areas on their weekly visit, including both sides of the perimeter
fence and buffer zones.

Bradley contracts with a parking lot sweeping fInn to sweep the parking lot four times a
week, typically, Monday, Wednesday, Friday and Saturday between the hours of7:00 a.m.
and 9:00 a.m. The firm uses an air sweeper to vacuum and brush sweep the curbs.
Sweepings are taken back to the fIrm's office where they are screened and tested for
hazardous wastes. The solid residuals are sent to Hennepin County for incineration and the
sand or gravel is hauled to Washington County and used in forming new roadbeds.

Snowplowing of the Har Mar property is done between the hours of 10:00 p.m. and
8:00 a.m., as necessary. The current snowplowing schedule will be maintained for the Cub
Foods project. Although there will be no increase in the area to be plowed as a result of
Cub Foods, there will be a decrease in the area available for temporary snow storage, If
necessary, snow will be hauled off-site to a remote location if sufficient on-site storage is
no longer available.

Bradley maintenance personnel aggressively implement a strict litter control policy. Each
morning after Har Mar opens, Bradley maintenance staff check all exterior trash
containers. Each container is emptied and new bags are inserted. Bradley employees then
. police, the entire parking lot and collect any remaining debris and trash. Collected trash is
disposed of in appropriate trash receptacles. This daily litter policing also includes both
sides of the Har Mar perimeter fence and buffer zones. .

. Description of Proposed Cub Foods Project

.
