<br />Extract of Minutes of Meeting <br />of City Council <br />City of Roseville <br />Ramsey County, Minnesota <br /> <br />Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a regular meeting of the City Council of the City of <br />Roseville, County of Ramsey, Minnesota, was duly held in the City Hall at 2660 Civic Center Drive, <br />Roseville, Minnesota, on Monday, the 22nd day of March, 1999, at 6:30 p.m. <br /> <br />The following members were present: <br />and the following were absent: <br />Member Wiski introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: <br /> <br />Resolution No. <br />A Resolution Vacating A Portion of Certain Drainage and Utility Easements <br />In Connection With Rerouting of Utility Lines for Proposed Cub Food Store <br />Har Mar Mall (2100 Snelling Avenue) <br />And Accepting a Replacement Easement (PF31 04) <br /> <br />WHEREAS, Bradley Operating Limiting Partnership is requesting the vacation of certain <br />utility and drainage easements located southeast ofthe former Homeplace structure within the <br />parking lot of Har Mar Mall, and provide for replacement utility easements; and, <br /> <br />WHEREAS, this request is based on future proposed plans to redevelop the former <br />Homeplace store with a 75,000 + square foot Cub Food grocery store; and, <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the proposal calls for a new utility easement to be established directly adjacent <br />to the current easement and for the existing utilities to be reconstructed within the new <br />easement, thereby eliminating the need for the existing easement; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the Roseville Engineering Department has determined that the proposed <br />easement is adequate to accommodate the reconstruction ofthe existing utilities; <br /> <br />WHEREAS, The Planning Commission, on March 10, 1999, held the required public <br />hearing and recommended approval of the request for vacation of certain utility and drainage <br />easements located on the southeast side of the former Homeplace facility and acceptance of a <br />replacement utility easement; <br /> <br />NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council of the City of Roseville, <br />Minnesota, hereby determines it appropriate to vacate, in connection with the redevelopment of <br />the former Homeplace store, 2100 Snelling Avenue, certain drainage and utility easements legally <br />described as follows: <br /> <br />That part ofthe Northerly 30.0 feet ofthe Northeast Quarter of the Southwest Quarter of <br />the Northwest Quarter of Section 15, Township 29,Range 23, Ramsey County, Minnesota lying <br /> <br />~ .o{'\ <br />ryr;} <br />~ <br />
