Outdoor lighting shall be reduced as much as possible at <br />night. <br />Semi-trailer trucks coming to the facility will be routed to and from the north via Highway 96, <br />and not to and from the south via County Road F. All trucks at the loading dock or parking <br />area shalf turn off their engines and headlights while parked or docked on site. The trucks will <br />not use back-up beepers. The dock area will be equipped with electric plug-ins for engine <br />heaters so that diesel engines can be turned off and plugged in during cold weather. The site <br />will include appropriate signage to remind drivers of these requirements. <br />Final grading, utility and pavement section plans will be submitted to the City Engineer for <br />review and comment. Storm water calculations and watermain flow calculations for fire flow <br />demands shall be submitted to the City Engineer for review and comment. <br />The St. Paul Post Master will work with other regional Post Office facilities to arrange for the <br />first semi-trailer truck to arrive at the site as late as possible in the morning. <br />The air conditioning condenser unit equipment is to be ground-mounted on a concrete slab <br />and is about 61 x 12' x 4' high, located on the north side of the building in the northwest <br />comer of the site, between the existing building and the neighboring RTf building. The <br />conditions discussed and agreed to are as follows: <br />1. Place the unit as far back from McMenemy Street as possible, 50' east of the comer of <br />the building if possible. <br />2. Build a solid concrete block or similar screen wall between the unit and McMenemy <br />Street, at least l' taller than the unit. <br />3. Provide at least two 6' spruce trees, or similar dense conifers, near the northwest comer <br />of the building in the green area between the building and parking lot to provide Yisual <br />screening. <br />4. The City Engineer should also be consulted to see if there are any utility, grading or <br />drainage is$ues to be addressed. <br />The following Fire Department conditions shall be adhered to: <br />1. The building will be sprinklered. A sprinkler system should be zoned and monitored <br />24 hours per day. <br />2. Prior to occupancy, the Fire Marshal will advise to placement of fire extinguishers, exit <br />signs and fire lanes. <br />All signage on site will be submitted to the City Building Official for review and comment. <br /> <br />F. <br />G. <br /> <br />H. <br /> <br />I. <br /> <br />J. <br /> <br />K. <br /> <br />Article 2 <br />The regular hours of general construction shall be from 7:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. with no work on <br />holidays or weekends. Certain types of work that are considered "non-noisy" types of work will be <br />_flowed on Saturdays from 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. at the discretion of the City Administrator. The <br />~efinition of "non-noisy" work is work that is all inside a structurel such as plumbing, electrical, <br />painting and taping, etc., or outside work that does,,~ create a lot of noise or disrupt the repose of <br /> <br />3 of 7 <br />
