~ Landscaping should take into account adjacent property owners, especially those
to the south. The landscape plan should include ample year-around screening
consisting of coniferous species.

~ Given the extra time, it is suggested that Mendota Homes proactively pursue a
neighborhood meeting with the association at Executive Manor and the town
home association across the street in St. Anthony. This will allow the
development proposal an opportunity to air-out concerns of adjacent residents
prior to the Planning Commission's public hearing.

Although it may appear that these suggestions require major modification to the previous
proposal, the DRC is interested in forwarding a compatible development that has a
unique approach to solving adjacent property impacts.

As indicated yesterday, please call me the week of June 21 to setup a meeting to review
the proposed development and these suggestions. In the next week you may want to have
your development team consider some of these items and begin making the necessary
modifications. I look forward to your call.

Sincerely,

Thomas Paschke
CITY PLANNER
CITY of ROSEVILLE
