1 1 In February 2000 a minor administrative amendment permitting an increase in the building area by 10% was approved by the City of Roseville. The south 16 acres of Centre Pointe Business Park were then sold to Veritas and Veritas commenced construction on Veritas Building 1. The City of Roseville approved the Veri/as Software development in 2000. 2. This revised building squarefootage was a result of the approved Veri/as Software development/minor administrative P.U.D. amendment authorized by City Code which permits 10% increase administratively. Under the current proposal, Veritas proposes to increase the gross building area by 121,836 SF for the Veritas property. Currently under construction on the Veritas property is a 5-story, 143,157 SF office building. Under the currently approved PUD, two additional buildings, each totaling 58,346 SF was proposed. I ) Veritas is a multinational software company that has experienced dramatic growth and demand for their services. The company has committed to establishing its Midwest Headquarters in Roseville, MN. To accomplish their needs for office space, additional area is required. To meet its growth needs, Veritas is proposing to replace the two previously approved 58,346 SF buildings with two new buildings that would total 120,000 SF each. This would be accomplished by converting the two 2-story buildings into 4-story buildings and by adding a parking structure on the property. This would meet Roseville's parking requirements.
