Anv commercial loading dock within 300' of a residential <br />district which is to be used for any reason bv vehicles or <br />equipment between the hours of 10:00 p.m. and 7:00 a.m. <br />shall be within a completely enclosed and roofed <br />structure. All operations including delivery, loading, <br />unloading, and bacldne; up of vehicles, shall occur with <br />the door shut at all times. <br /> <br />H. <br /> <br />Maintenance Activities: Movement of sweepine; vehicles, garbae:e <br />trucks, maintenance trucks, shopping carts, and other service <br />vehicles and equipment is prohibited within 300' of a residential <br />district between the hours of 10:00 p.m. and 7:00 a.m., except for <br />emergency vehicles and emergency utility or maintenance activities, <br />or unless screened at all times bv a building at least 14' in height. No <br />permanent storae;e of snow shall occur within 300 feet of a <br />residential area. Removal oftemporarilv stored snow shall not <br />occur between the hours of 10:00 p.m. and 7:00 a.m. <br /> <br />I. <br /> <br />Equipment Restrictions: All ground-mounted or roof-mounted <br />equipment, automatic doors, speaker systems, gas pumps, car <br />washes, vehicle vacuum cleaners, air hoses, or other noise sources <br />which a reasonable person would find annoying in a residential <br />settine; must be completely screened to a point 5' above the first <br />floor of adjacent residences. Outdoor speaker systems or other <br />public address systems which can be heard outside are not allowed <br />to be used between the hours of 10:00 p.m. and 7:00 a.m. within 300' <br />of a residential district, even if screened. <br /> <br />J. <br /> <br />Lighting: Anv commercial sie;nae;e which is lighted between the <br />hours or 10:00 p.m. and 7:00 a.m. shall be completely screened from <br />adjacent residences. The heie;ht of light poles and fixtures shall <br />complvwith subsection 1010.12, and shall not exceed a height of <br />twelve (12) feet within fifty (50) feet of a residential property line, <br />twenty-five (25) feet within 100' of a residential property line. Lie;ht <br />poles or fixtures may be a maximum of forty (40) feet tall if more <br />than 100' from a residential property line and if completely screened <br />bv buildine;, berm, or landscape material with a minimum opacity of <br />90% to eve level view oflivine; spaces in homes within 300' oflie;ht <br />source. Standards apply both to poles and wall-mounted fIXtures. <br />All lights not reasonably required for security or business operation <br />must be turned off between the hours of 10:00 p.m. and sunrise, or <br />operated bv motion detectors so that they only turn on when there is <br />activity nearby and turn off shortly thereafter <br /> <br />5 <br />
