Odor and trash control: Trash and recvcline; containers shall be <br />located within an attached and fully enclosed structure or within <br />the principal structure. Trash and recycling areas shall be equipped <br />with a hose and ground drain, or other means to wash the area <br />thoroughly and regularly. Restaurant exhaust vents shall be located <br />at least 300' away from residential areas unless equipped with a City <br />approved odor removal filtering system capable of removing odors <br />from the air such that a reasonable person in the residential area <br />would not find the resultine; discharge offensive on a regular basis. <br /> <br />H.L. Other Requirements: <br /> <br />1. Certain Businesses in Shopping Center Districts to be Enclosed: <br />All business, storage, service, repair or processing, box and crate <br />storage or merchandise display shall be conducted wholly within <br />an enclosed building or behind a solid fence not less than five feet <br />(5') high except as allowed in subsection 1005.01G. (Ord.1066, 7- <br />24-89) <br /> <br />2. Communication: For any commercial use adjacent to a <br />residential area, the commercial property owner or manager <br />shall provide to at least the first tier of residents a phone <br />number that will be answered twenty-four hours a day of <br />someone responsible for property management and able to <br />address reasonable concerns and complaints. <br /> <br />3. Security: Commercial property owners will be responsible <br />for providing frequent and thorough security monitoring of <br />commercial areas within 300' of a residential district. <br /> <br />4. Site Maintenance: Commercial property owners shall be <br />responsible for daily monitoring of site maintenance, <br />includine; trash pickup in parkine; areas bordering residential <br />areas. <br /> <br />2.BuffeI Zone.
