<br />DEVELOPMENT REVIEW GUIDELINES & PROCEDURES <br /> <br />21. General Information: <br /> <br />A. Planning Commission Meetings: The Roseville Planning Commission holds its <br />regular meetings on the second Wednesday of each month at 6:30 p.m., in the <br />Council Chambers at City Hall. Items requiring Planning Commission review <br />will be considered four (4) weeks prior to the first Planning Commission meeting <br />to consider the item. <br /> <br />The Community Development Director will attend the City Council meetings and <br />reports on Planning Commission actions. <br /> <br />B. Parks & Recreation Commission Meetings: The Roseville Parks Advisory <br />Commission meets at 7:00 p.m. on the first Tuesday of each month. Items <br />requiring Parks and Recreation Commission review will be considered three (3) <br />weeks prior to the first Planning Commission meeting to consider the item. <br /> <br />C. City Council Meeti'ngs: The Roseville City Council meets on the second and <br />fourth Mondays of each month at 6:30 p.m.. These meetings are held in the <br />Council Chambers at City Hall. Action on development applications is generally <br />limited to the meeting on the fourth Monday. <br /> <br />D. Agendas: Planning Commission, Parks and Recreation Commission and City <br />Council agendas are normally available at the City offices and on the internet at <br />least three days prior to meetings. (www.cLroseville.mn.us) <br /> <br />E. Notification of Meetings: The applicants will be notified of the date and time of <br />meetings. It is the responsibility of the applicants to stay informed of meeting <br />times and dates. Failure of the applicants to appear when scheduled on a <br />given agenda may cause the item to be continued by the Planning <br />Commission and/or City Council. <br /> <br />A copy of the planning staff report is mailed and/or faxed to the applicant. The <br />applicants are urged to meet with the city staff to clarify issues and identify <br />possible solutions to any problems that are identified in the planning report at <br />least 24 hours prior to the Planning Commission meeting. This will allow staff to <br />check with other departments if necessary. <br /> <br />F. Planning Commission Consideration: The Planning Commission may take one <br />of the four actions regarding a project. These four actions and the applicant's <br />responsibilities in each case are outlined below: <br /> <br />G. Recommend Approval, Referred to the City Council. If the Planning <br />Commission recommends approval of the proposal exactly as it is <br />presented, it will be considered by the City Council at their next available <br />regularly scheduled meeting to occur, usually within 10 to 14 days. <br /> <br />Page 13 of 14 <br />
