<br />5. Drainage OfJPAJRJKJING Areas: Off-street IPAJRK][NG areas shall be so graded <br />and drained to dispose of all surface water. Drainage plans shall be subject to the <br />approval ofthe Public Works Director. <br />6. Location: All accessory off-street IP AIRKIING facilities required herein shall be <br />located as follows: <br />a. Spaces accessory to uses located in a business district shall be within three hundred <br />feet (300') of the principal building served. <br />b. There shall be no off-street JP AJR](][NG within fifteen feet (15') of any street right of <br />way. <br /> <br />E. Joint Facilities: <br /> <br />1. Joint IP AJRKITNG Facilities Permitted; Proyision: Required JP ARKING facilities <br />serving two (2) or more uses may be located on the same lot or in the same structure, <br />proyided that the total number of IP AJRJKIING spaces furnished shall not be less than the <br />sum of the separate requirements for each use. <br /> <br />2. General Conditions For Approval: The City Council may approve the joint use of <br />P ARKJING facilities for the following uses or activities under the following conditions: <br />a. Up to fifty percent (50%) of the IP AIRKJING facilities required for a theater, bowling <br />alley, dance hall, bar or restaurant may be supplied by the off-street JP' ARK][NG facilities <br />proyided by types of uses specified under subsection d below as primarily daytime uses. <br />b. Up to fifty percent (50%) of the off-street JPAJRlKJING facilities required for any use <br />specified under subsection d below as primarily daytime uses may be supplied by the <br />p ARKJI]~rG facilities provided by the following nighttime or Sunday uses: Auditoriums <br />incidental to a public or parochial school, churches, bowling alleys, dance halls, theaters, <br />bars or restaurants. <br />c. Up to fifty percent (50%) of the JPA!RJJUNG facilities required for a church or for an <br />auditorium incidental to a public or parochial school may be supplied by the off-street <br />PARKING facilities provided by uses specified in subsection d below as primarily <br />daytime uses. <br />d. For the purposes of this subsection, the following uses are considered as primarily <br />daytime uses: Banks, business offices, retail stores, personal service shops, household <br />equipment or furniture shops, clothing or shoe repair or service shops, manufacturing, <br />wholesale and similar uses. <br />e. Conditions Required For Joint Use: <br />(1) The building or use for which application is being made to utilize the off-street <br />PARKING facilities provided by another building or use shall be located within four <br />hundred feet (400') of such JP AJRJKIING facilities. <br />(2) The applicant shall show that there is not substantial contlict in principal operating <br />hours of the two (2) buildings or uses for which joint use of off-street JP' ARKING <br />facilities is proposed. <br />(3) A properly drawn legal instrument, executed by the parties concerned for joint use of <br />off-street P ARKIING facilities, duly approved as to form and manner of execution by the <br />City Attorney, shall be filed with the City Manager. <br /> <br />12 <br />
