The <br />Finance Specialist will oversee general fmancial decisions, assist in establishing and <br />maintaining the school's budget, negotiate contracts within the school and other <br />partIes. <br /> <br />D. Indicate responsibilities retained by the Board and those delegated. <br /> <br />The Board of directors will be responsible for establishing the school's policy and <br />contracting outside services (such as special education staffs, paraprofessionals <br />bussing and car-pooling needs, etc.), with providers and agencies. <br /> <br />E. Describe the school's proposed admission policies. <br /> <br />Family Academy's enrollment is open to any students of grades K-8 (ages 5-15), <br />regardless of district residency, intellectual or athletic abilities. The school will be <br />open to both typical and non-typical students. <br /> <br />In the event student application enrollment shall exceed availability, studems will <br />then be accepted by lot. Preference will be given to enroll siblings of studems <br />already enrolled in the program. Once enrollment is secured, subsequent annual <br />student application will not be required. <br /> <br />III. Learning Program <br /> <br />A. Curriculum <br /> <br />The curriculum at Family Academy will consist of an academic cere of five subjects, <br />English, History and Geography, the Arts, Math and Science. We will have a well- <br />defined sequence of academic goals centered on the basics,-and teachers committed <br />to helping students reach their full academic potential. We are dedicated to teaching <br />a solid academic coment and skills to all children.
