Plannine: File 3235: Request by Carlson-LaVine, Inc. to vacate a utility <br />and drainage easement on property located at 2965 Partridge Road. <br /> <br />Chair Klausing opened the hearing and requested City Planner Thomas <br />Paschke to provide a verbal summary of the project report dated July 12, <br />2000. <br /> <br />Thomas Paschke explained the vacation requested. He explained the <br />progress on preparation of the site for an office. The easement in question <br />is no longer needed and no new utilities are needed. The property is <br />surrounded by easements. By vacating the easement the two parcels can <br />be combined and developed as one developable parcel. <br /> <br />Chair Klausing asked for clarification of the utility easement purposes. <br /> <br />Chair Klausing asked how the Engineering Department determined the <br />easement was not necessary. Deb Bloom, Assistant City Engineer, <br />explained the reasoning for the vacation. <br /> <br />No additional public comments were received. Chair Klausing closed the <br />public hearing. <br /> <br />Motion: Member Cunningham moved, second by Member Wilke, to <br />recommend approval of the request for vacation of a 20-foot wide utility <br />and drainage easement (legal description attached) lying between Lot 3 <br />and Lot 4, Block I, Partridge Industrial Park, 2965 Partridge Road, based <br />on the findings outlined in Section 3.1 - 3.4 of the project report <br /> <br />Ayes: 7 <br />Nays: 0 <br />Motion passed. <br />
