The Comprehensive Plan Future Land Use Map illustrates all future land use designations
based on City approvals to December 31, 2000 including a spreadsheet breakdown of each
designation by area and percent of total city land area.

The only change that occurred in this section was the modification to the Knights of Columbus
site for the Sunrise Assisted Living facility. Planning District 9 was changed from Business to
High Density Residential. Demographics have not been changed for the year 2000.

2.5 Section 5 - Transportation: - For the Year 2000 the City has included Ramsey County traffic
forecasts through 2020 for all county roads and state highways. The MTC also completed a
redesign of bus routes in Roseville that have been included in section 5 ofthe Comp Plan.

2.6 Section 6 - Housing & Neighborhood Plans: The City's contract with the Housing Resource
Center (HRC) was implemented in April 2000. This contract affords residential property
owners an opportunity to seek information regarding home improvements and funding. From
the City's Housing Fund, a revolving loan fund was initiated amounting to $100,000. At the
printing ofthis document $90,000 was loaned out.

2.7 Section 7 - Economic & Redevelopment Plans: This section will contain building permit
activity for the Year 2000. However, this information will not be available until January 1,
2001. The Year 2000 will set a record for construction value with over 80 million dollars in
new investments. Also contained in this section are a number of redevelopment projects.
Listed below is a progress report of those projects:

· City Center Task Force: Planning Process began in August 1998. This is part of the Plan
Implementation Section. No action was taken on this plan. When completed in 2001, a
copy of the final report will be referenced in the Comprehensive Plan.

. Twin Lakes: A Twin Lakes Renewal Strategy process was begun in 2000.

. Gateway Business Park: Sebasta Blomberg constructed a 50,000 square foot high tech
office.

. Centre Pointe: Veritas began construction on a 145,000 square foot office. Also beginning
construction is a 120 room Courtyard by Marriott.

. Arona Site: The Arona building was razed in November.

2.8 Section 8 - Environmental Protection: No changes were made to this section in the Year
2000.

2.9 Section 9 - Parks: The parks section of the Comprehensive Plan was updated to include the
Lexington Avenue and County Road B park Master Plan (Appendix 9c) and text updating
certain parks and facilities. A new map has been produced which indicates on and off-road
pathways, the most significant of which is the Dale Street pathway.

PF 3276 - RPCA (12/13/00) - Page 2 of 4
