Support for emergency semces by providing wireless communications to paramedics, <br />firefighters, and law enforcement agencies. <br />. A backup system to the Iand-6ne system in the event of a natural or man-made disaster. <br />. Communication capabilities in remote areas, enhancing the safety of travelers by <br />allowing immediate access to emergency assistance. <br />. Support for the busy lives of people in the area reducing stress and increasing <br />productivity. <br /> <br />6. Compatibility with the City's Comprehensive Plan. <br /> <br />Pursuant to the City of Roseville's Zoning Code, section 1012.10 (A)(4), the proposed use <br />requires a Conditional Use Permit. The Conditional Use will conform to all applicable <br />regulations including those of the Limited Business District. The proposed monopole will <br />be built to conform to all of the City's Zoning Code provisions, including the regulations <br />concerning appearance and screening. The Conditional Use will be in harmony with the <br />spirit and intent of the City's Code. Wireless telephones provide an alternate <br />communication system which has repeatedly proven its effectiveness in emergency <br />situations and is commonly being utilized by police and fire departments to protect the <br />general public's health, safety and welfare. Therefore, the granting of the Conditional Use <br />will be in conformance with the general and specific purposes imposed by the City's <br />comprehensive land use plan and Zoning Code. <br />
